my car is ready，车子修好了，时刻准备出发，用 ready 来形容一个东西的状况，而不是什么情况都是用 good ，这个算是一个体现英语能力的点吧。。
新版的课文去除了licence这个词，直接就使用 the number of your car, 不过既然使用了旧版，我们也趁机学习一下吧， licence，名词，执照、许可证，license，动词，给谁授权，发执照，不过，在美式英语中，无论是动词还是名词都使用 license 这个词，简单了好多，还是美国佬简单些。。
留意车主回复说，well, it was my car，这个什么意思呢，这里车主过来取车，车的所有权并未发生改变，为啥车主说，it was my car? 这里是一种委婉的去除尴尬的表达，这个车平常挺好的，可是撞成这个熊样了，能不能修好也难说，蛮尴尬的，所以说， it was my car， 就好你的孩子在超市里大吵大闹，旁边的顾客投来不满的目光，你自嘲的说到，”He was a good boy.“ （潜台词：他平时挺乖的，现在这个样子真让我无奈/丢脸。）
