老规矩，先关注时态，显然，这是一个过去已经发生趣事，所以都是过去时态的句子。本文有一些非常经典的句子，比如下面这两句，其中第二句，我们在本册书的 第2-38课 也遇见过，一毛一样的句子，说那个倒霉蛋一回老家来就买了房子。038的这句我也同样列出来：'Nothing could have been more annoying.'；'I had no sooner got back to the kitchen than the doorbell rang loud enough to wake the dead.'（'loud enough to wake the dead' 也蛮幽默的，中文说吵死人是说用噪音将人吵死，英文是说噪音能把死人唤醒。。）；'He had no sooner returned than he bought a house and went to live there.' (2-038的同样类型的句子)

本文还非常集中使用了好几个和时间相关的说法，例如：'After breakfast'，'In a short time'，'At exactly that moment'，'At last'。注意最后段开头用的 'At last'，这个表达上节课同样用到了，看来也是一个常用的语言点哈。
